History

With the graduation of first batch of BSc in Quantity Surveying (Honours) degree course in 1991, the alumni association of Department of Building Economics was established late January 1992. This was known as Graduates of the Department of Building Economics, (GraDBE). However, activities were not actively conducted as many members immediately left for overseas employment, as they were in great demand.
Given the circumstances in the construction industry in 2008, many graduates realised the need for meeting regularly with each other and addressing various issues related to the QS profession, the QSAA was formally established in March 2008.
